For years, I saw women grappled with the relentless challenges posed by uterine fibroids—a battle marked by discomfort, pain, and the hindrance of simple daily tasks. In my research, I found a striking absence of organizations extending help, information, or support regarding fibroids in the San Antonio area. Compounded by reproductive concerns, even fertility specialists dismissed the notion that fibroids could be the underlying cause. Women with fibriods struggle encompasses heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, and excruciating cramps.
Community and Connection
We understand the power of community. Our organization fosters connections among women facing similar challenges. Through support groups and community events, we create a network where women can share experiences, offer encouragement, and find solace in knowing they are not alone.
Our Commitment
As a non-profit, our commitment extends beyond awareness. We actively work to reduce barriers to healthcare access, collaborating with medical professionals and advocating for improved resources.
